USS George K. MacKenzie (DD-836) was a Gearing-class destroyer of the United States Navy, named for Lieutenant Commander George K. MacKenzie (1910–1943). George K. MacKenzie was launched on 13 May 1945 by the Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine; sponsored by Miss Donna MacKenzie, daughter; and commissioned on 13 July 1945, Commander Alvin W. Slayden in command.
