Peter Baldwin (29th July 1933 - 21st October 2015) was a British actor best known for his role on Coronation Street as Derek Wilton, a part he played from 1976 until the character was controversially killed off by Producer Brian Park in 1997. Peter's other credits included Bergerac, Cadfael and Doctors.
