Madsteps is first encountered on 11F in Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard. It is only found during the quest 'Beast Gone Berzerk'. Madsteps is a stronger version of a Sleipnir. It does not show up in the monster registry and killing it results in failing the quest.
