Fred Jordan was an officer with the Grantville police department. He was present for the "duel" between Alexander Mackay and Chip Jenkins at the Thuringen Gardens. He was off-duty at the time, and inebriated. He ruled that Mackay's choice of saber as a weapon was valid, and ordered Jenkins be provided one. Jordan was also present during the Croats' attack on Grantville. He initially planned to join Chief Dan Frost on Main Street, but retreated back into a building on Frost's order.
