Blood Crescent is a unique Scimitar, found in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Blood Crescent, like many unique normal weapons, is rarely useful past early game. Although it may have bonuses that are worthy of many good unique weapons, Blood Crescent simply cannot deal out a useful amount of damage in later game. However, although its use is limited to Act I or Act II in Normal difficulty at the most, during that span, Blood Crescent can still be a useful weapon. Besides its enhanced damage, Blood Crescent gives its user life leech, and also has a relatively high chance of Open Wounds.
