The Amberlian Empire was a grand empire in southern Jadame. It was founded in 342 AS, and dominated its surrounding lands for hundreds of years. In 589 AS, Thorn III, who would become the last Amberlian Emperor, was born. At this point, the once-powerful empire was crumbling away. To preserve the Empire's treasures, Thorn III constructed the Vault of Time in Ravenshore, and sealed away what remained of the Empire's regalia. One of these items was the infamous Scepter of Kings. Emperor Thorn III passed away in 633 AS.
