At this stage in the Bothan War, CSA President Jammi Crane was looking for allies to fight in the war against the Muuns and Bothans. Along with the Bespin Treaty Association, who had been an ally from the war's beginning, the Mandalorians and Mon Calamari pledged their support to the galaxywide alliance. The Wookies and Trandoshans (who had been at peace for quite some time at this point) had also expressed interest in joining the fight. Support from these groups would briing imeasurable aid to CSA and its allies.
