When Roger steals Steve's band in "American Dream Factory", Steve is about to give up playing at the Langley 4th of July Festival when Stan tries to cover for illegal Mexican immigrants working for him that are about to be deported and helps Steve form a replacement band. At the festival, Steve and the Mexicans sing John Denver's song "Take Me Home, Country Roads"- the only one they know in English about America they used to sing while dreaming of immigrating.
