Something of a "sumoo whisperer," Mayuri feels a deep, spiritual connection with the animals, and is absolutely torn up inside by the horrible illness they've contracted. Though exceptional at her job, Mayuri's communication skills leave a little something to be desired, with simple concepts often taking her whole paragraphs, spoken at a conspicuously deliberate pace, to convey.
