Lieutenant Brilgar was a Bajoran male who served in the Bajoran Militia in the 2370s. In 2373, Brilgar was serving as a security officer aboard Deep Space 9. As well as training in security, Brilgar had training in anthropology and law. (ST:CCG: Second Edition) In mid-2373, Brilgar was assigned to protect Kira Nerys from Silaran Pren, after her began killing former members of the Shakaar Resistance Cell. While protecting Kira, Brilgar was accidentally attacked by Furel and Lupaza, who believed him to be the intruder. (DS9 episode: "The Darkness and the Light")
