The Collector is a villainous alter-ego of Comic Book Guy that was used in a Treehouse Of Horror episode when Bart and Lisa gained superhuman abilities - taking his obsession for superheroes to the extreme he sought to immortalize his "collection" forever by literally imprisoning his victims inside plastic prisons so as to resemble real-life action figures. He was killed when Lucy Lawless tricked him into letting her kick him into very hot lucite.
