Daniel is a prophetic book written by Daniel the prophet that appears in the Old Testament section of the Bible. It contains prophecy that relates to the times that the Left Behind books deal with. In "Tribulation Force", Dr. Tsion Ben-Judah used Scripture from Daniel to argue the case of how the prophesied Messiah should appear, leading up to the revelation of Jesus Christ being that Messiah. The Scripture verses in question was Daniel 9:24-26, arguing for the case that the Messiah showed up exactly 483 years (the first "69 weeks" in the "70 weeks" prophecy) after the call to rebuild Jerusalem at the time the prophecy was recorded.
