DuQuesne Base was a major fleet base of the People's Navy on the planet Enki in the Barnett System. The third largest of all Havenite naval bases with a personnel of about one million, it was built right after the conquest of San Martin as the springboard for the next round of conquests under the DuQuesne Plan. It was named for the architect of the Republic of Haven's expansionist moves, and was placed so as to support further moves in the direction of the Star Kingdom of Manticore and independent systems in the area, such as Trevor's Star.
