Nikko was born on Nar Shaddaa in 56 BBY. His father, a smuggler, walked out on the family when Nikko was only two. His mother, managed to keep them fed by working as a slicer, hacking into systems, and then "fixing" those same systems for a fee. However, she was unlucky enough to attract the attention of Aruk the Hutt, who was rather displeased when she locked out the system on his sail barge. She "disappeared" when Nikko was seven.
