Kartoosh was a planet in the galaxy. It was orbited by a debris cloud made up of vessels and everything that they had once contained. A shipyard used by the Galactic Empire to dismantle starships or retrofit them to serve any new purpose they were assigned to was located on Kartoosh. Five years before the end of the Clone Wars, Lieutenant Commander Orson Krennic had a hand in engineering the shipyard.
