Granulocytes are a group of four types of white blood cell which are distinguished by the presence of granules in the cytoplasm (the liquid inside of the cell) and a cell nucleus which is usually found with three lobe segments. They are further distinguished by their appearance when stained. The three types are: * Eosinophil granulocyte * Basophil granulocyte * Neutrophil granulocyte * Mast cell All of the granulocytes are created in the bone marrow.
