Blessed Liquid is the third Pokemon one-shot written by Burnt Flower, which focuses on the musings of a cynical and bitter Sandshrew who is slowly dying of dehydration after being severely beaten in a battle. It was first posted in Serebiiforums, though it was later posted in Fanfiction.net. This one-shot was created as an entry for a contest held at the beginning of 2005 and it stated in its requirements that it needed to have a battle between a Cacnea and a Sandshrew. This one-shot, though it didn't win anything, is one of Burnt Flower's most popular works.
