The Mass Storage Controller Block allows you to examine the contents of your Mass Storage System by scanning it and, once the Frozen Factory is online, lets you power the IO ports. Powered IO ports are Tier 4 ports which can insert and remove items at extremely fast speeds. Though the initial cost of the controller is seemingly high, only one controller is needed for the entire system making the controller well worth it.
