The Paradox Alpha is fought in the chapter 2 of Final Fantasy XIII-2 at the Bresha Ruins. It is also the first battle encounter in the beginning of the Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo. During the battle and in the Bestiary, only its left arm is shown, while the rest of its body is invisible. At first, it uses the name "Paradox Alpha", after which its revealed to be "Atlas".
