A guan dao that has been an heirloom of the Seong family, passed down from generation to generation in Korea. Seong Mi-na has been using this weapon since she was a young child taking the Scarlet Thunder (斬馬刀, Mandarin Chinese: Zhǎn Mǎdāo, Japanese: Zanbatō) with her on several of her past journeys, as it is her preferred blade. It is an incredibly well-balanced weapon. In Soul Edge, Scarlet Thunder is referred to as Zanbatou.
