He was introtuced as the main antagonist, but this was a plot to be outranked by the final but general main villains. Hyp is an adolescent Hypsilophodon who lives in the Great Valleywith an unnamed father (whereas, Hyp seems to have no mother). He would frequently bully other dinosaur children, with his favourite victims being the main characters Littlefoot and his pals. He first started off as a villain alongside his friends Mutt and Nod but he later reformed in the end of the film alongside Mutt and Nod.
