Shul Vaal was a middle-aged male Twi'lek Jedi Knight of the New Jedi Order. He served as a Jedi healer and aide to Jedi Master Cilghal at the Jedi Temple when Jedi Knight Sothais Saar was brought in after suffering the same illness that a group of Knights had contracted. Vaal had soothing manners, emanating calm even when chaotic events were occurring around him.
