Gary Erwin appeared as Corporal Dobson a wounded soldier who almost died when Charles errantly supplied with a IV of Curare in the Season 6 M*A*S*H episode "The Light That Failed". Erwin also made an appearance on the NBC-TV sitcom The Facts of Life as a delivery man in the episode "Big Time Charlie".
