Target Zones (sometimes called "Weak Spots", "Weak Points", or "Mortal Spots") are spots on an animal that instantly kill the animal when shot regardless of its health or the weapon's power. In Carnivores, all the animals have target zones, viewable on the menu by moving the cursor over the "Target Zone" button. In Carnivores 2, the target zones have been removed from all animals except Tyrannosaurus, whose eyes are still target zones. None of the animals in Carnivores Ice Age have target zones, however the code for Target Zones still exists.
