Electrovac was a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners in the 1970s. John Lee Roche was a salesman for Electrovac in Boston and sold a Princess model to William Mulder as a gift for his wife. According to Roche, Mulder was unable to decided between the Princess or the Duchess. Teena still had the vacuum in her home when Fox Mulder re-opened the case of Roche's serial murders. Roche also sold an Electrovac Argosy to the mother of Karen Ann Philiponte in East Amherst, New York before stalking and killing her daughter.
