The Dynex was an armed terrorist organization specializing in illegal weapon transport. It was started by an unknown Rodian in 52 ABY on Telos IV. He began the organization from scratch and eventually built it up into an intergalactic nightmare. Weapons were distributed all over the galaxy to gangs all over. Yan Zana, a Twi'lek, took over the organization after the death of the original leader at the hands of a Jedi Knight. To protect the Dynex, he created his own personal army and made a superfortress on Telos.
