During the quest through Sosaria, the Stranger's party had learned that the monsters in Exodus' castle were so horrible, only the Exotic Armour could protect from their attacks. Having received several hints from the inhabitants of Grey and Dawn, they found the armour buried on the west side of a small island to the east of Grey. Equipped with them, the party managed to advance through all resistance, finding Exodus in the end.
