The Delphi Shield (デルフィの守り Derufi no mamori, lit. Delphi's Protection) is a shield that first debuts in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. When equipped by a Flying Unit, this shield negates all Weapon effectiveness bonuses that such units are known to sustain from Wind magic and Bows. In Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, an Arcadian villager who is encountered in Chapter 14 of the former game, reveals that the Delphi Shield is an amulet that once belonged to Delphi, the god of the skies.
