In the mirror universe, Bering's World was a planet under the influence of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. In the 2340s, the crew of the Terran rebel starship Lakul visited Bering's World. They were unfortunate enough to visit during a Cardassian inspection that turned into a riot.
