Lagod is a walled city, situated on the River Nuba in the State of Lagod, Angliya. The city has a rich heritage and has provided the backdrop to major political events throughout much of its existence. The city offers a wealth of historic attractions, of which cities walls and keep is the most prominent, and a variety of cultural and sporting activities. The city was the former capital of Angliya and currently the state capital of the State of Lagod.
