Tu-Jarok, also known as the Way of Jarok, were the teachings made by Surak's friend and rival, Jarok. They departed from the teachings of Tu-Surak as Jarok himself disagreed with the total suppression of Vulcan emotions and thus broke away from the strict teachings of logic that were being preached by Surak. This was because he believed that whilst Vulcans needed to control their emotions, they needed to have the opportunity to deal with them.
