Songs of Dusk was a piece of Bajoran literature about age and dying read in meditation as part of the practice of Bajoran religion. In April 2376 Vedek Yevir Linjarin read from the Songs of Dusk at a service in the Bajoran temple on Deep Space 9. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book One)
