A.J. Cox (September 8, 1927 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Wilmington, DE. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Cox debuted in 1971, competing at Dover. Starting 39th in the field of forty, Cox completed just 82 laps before his mill gave up and Cox finished a disappointing 32nd. Cox was unfortunately unable to improve in his other race, competing at Trenton Speedway in 1972. Starting 32nd in the field of thirty-three, Cox's engine overheated after just two laps and Cox ended the race last (33rd).
