Aviars were winged creatures native to Drall. There were many species, identifiable by color and plumage patterns, such as the white-winged aviar. They roosted in trees and artificial structures. Social animals by nature, they flew and migrated in coveys. The Duchess Marcha's garden dome contained many different species of aviar as well as some imported Corellian birds. There also existed a family of colorful and variegated avians called ibbots, which were, like the aviar family, native to Drall, but aviars and ibbots were distinct from one another.
