Tinglant is one of Lord Strept's three sons who was part of the group of suitors for princess Pavetta's hand. He appears in the short story "A Question of Price" which tells the tale of the events at the banquet in honour of Pavetta's fifteenth birthday. His brothers are Wieldhill and Fodcat.
