Shockwave believes that Kickback is one of the original Insecticon along with his brothers, Sharpshot and Hardshell. That being said, he is not necessarily one of the brightest. He is psychotic and unpredictable, often treating dangerous situations as if they were a mere game, laughing constantly. He also tends to repeat himself. He specializes in espionage.
