Yoritomo Katsu was a member of the Mantis Clan who in 1164 threatened the Scorpion courtier Shosuro Maru. During a visit to the court of Moshi Amika he witnessed an iaijutsu demonstration performed by Kakita Korihime. One of his bodyguards noticed an intruder in the shadows, who fled the scene.
