An Assault Platforms, also known as Walkers, are colossal machines of war that use legs as its primary method of locomotion instead of anti-gravity plates, wheels or treads. However, Assault Platforms should not be confused with Mobile Powered Assault Armour or small land drones - Walkers are normally large, with most able to carry several fire teams and are piloted by two or more individuals. The Covenant, Remnant and Sangheili Scarab is considered the standard size for Assault Platforms post-2552, while the Locust is considered a very small Assault Platform.
