Shiro Chiyu was the ancestral home of the Chiyu family, located in the border between Phoenix and Dragon lands. It was actually a natural formation of caves caused by the flow of the spring's waters through the mountain. A hot spring run beneath the earth and through the walls of the caverns, and kept every room warm throughout the year. The spring formed several pools and one vast body of water in the heart of the complex had strange flora. Some said the healing water kami lurked there, giving advice to those who listened.
