She was asigned to the Mount Zakol Hunt, leaded by number 9 Jean, where she was eventually ambushed, along with the rest of the team, by Abyssal One Riful of the West, and her partner, former number 3 Dauf. After a long session of torture, Katea finally Awakened. However, after being defined by Dauf as weak, Riful orders her death, as she wasn't useful for her army.
