Vanilla is a single by Gackt, released on 11th August, 1999 and re-released again on 20th March 2002. It is his second single as a solo artist. A DVD edition with a PV was released in December. Vanilla peaked at number 4 on the Japanese Oricon charts, and staying in the charts for another 10 weeks. Vanilla is a favourite among Gackt fans, particularly because of a live performance from Gackt's Mars tour, which contained a large amount of fanservice with Masa, his guitarist at the time.
