William Sandover (died 1921) was a businessman and local politician active in the Richmond area. He was born in Australia, where he had founded an ironmongery business, Sandovers of Fremantle and Perth. In 1895 he became engaged to Constance Atherton and the couple emigrated to England, settling in Richmond in the Surrey suburbs, Constance's home town: they married in 1896. He maintained his connection with Australia, and represented Western Australia at annual congress the Chambers of Commerce of the Empire in 1900. He died in 1921 while on a sea journey returning from Australia.
