The front opening of the skirt in Style 1 is edged with pockets which button on. Saddle-stitched patch pockets at the hips are features of Style 2 skirt. The weskit, tucked into the skirt, has a patch pocket just below the shoulder, and saddle-stitching is used as trimming.
