He was born in the same era as the third hokage. He was believed to be a genius of his generation. He was even acknowledged by the Second hokage.He called him the next Madara considering Goige's great visual prowess. He awakened the Mangekyo Sharingon when he was a chunnin. He murded his best friend while they where on a mission however he made it appear as the enemy did it. However, Hiruzen didn't believe him and watched him closely. Years later, after the First shinobi world war Goige gained the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. No one knows how. Hiruzen confronts Goige however Goige uses a genjutsu to put hiruzen to sleep. He then leaves the village and tells Danzo that he will return to gain what he's always wanted. 5 years after the first hokages death Goige returns and takes the right arm
