Blood runecrafting was released on 22 April 2008 as a reward from the Legacy of Seergaze quest. The Blood altar is located beneath Meiyerditch, a long distance from any bank, making the crafting of blood runes difficult and time consuming. The Blood tiara can be used on the wicked hood, giving the hood two free teleports to the blood altar, and 5 free blood runes every day. This will consume the tiara.
