The Sonic Super Specials are a series of 48-page special editions of the Sonic the Hedgehog series by Archie Comics. They were produced quarterly from 1997 to 2001, running only fifteen issues. Some of the stories were reprinted on the Sonic Select book series. In October 2011, Archie has made a new series called Sonic Super Special Magazines, which includes five back issues from the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog and is produced quarterly, as well.
