The unnamed Female Record Shop Assistant worked alongside Hayley Cropper's son, Christian Gatley in the Sound Garden record shop. Following Hayley's heart-to-heart with husband Roy, and his insistence that she told Christian the truth - that she was his father - Hayley called round to the shop. Disappointed that he was not there, the assistant told Hayley that Christian had just popped out and would be back in five minutes or so. Upon his return however, Hayley lost her nerve and ended up telling him she was his aunt and that his father was dead.
