Kojiro's Sword (物干竿, Monohoshizao, lit. "The Laundry-Drying Pole") is probably named after Sasaki Kojirō - a Japanese swordsman. Kojirō was killed by Miyamoto Musashi, who Mitsurugi is believed to have been modeled after. It has excellent reach, 1.5 times longer than Korefuji. A similar weapon, Monohoshizao would later debut in Soulcalibur II being used by Yoshimitsu and in Soulcalibur III by Arthur.
