Ruz Afar was a Jedi Knight during the Great Hero Purge. On July 23, 2008, Ruz's plan was to get captured in a droid factory and lure Sonic into a trap, but Darth Vader's secret apprentice, Galen Marek foiled the Jedi's plot by freeing him. Galen then dueled Ruz in the explosions of the factory. As the duel reached its climax, Galen escaped and left Ruz to perish in the exploding droid factory.
