The Dream On Contest was a contest held by Cyberdog Castle and The GOAT Store which aimed to bring more independently developed commercial games to the Sega Dreamcast. The contest was held from 2003 to 2005. Two commercial games (Inhabitants and Maqiupai) have been released as a result of the first annual Dream On Contest, as the main prize for each year's contest was a publishing contract through The GOAT Store. The third contest was cancelled. One of the entries, Dynamite Dreams, was expanded to a full commercial game known as Alice Dreams Tournament.
